Middlesex


At the General Quarter Session of the peace of our
Lord the King holden for the County of Middlesex
at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the same County
by adjournment on Thursday the Tenth day of
July 1760. in the Thirty fourth year of the
Reign of Our Sovereign Lord George the Second
by the Grace of God King of Great Britain Etc

It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County
do pay to Mr. John Stephens< no role > the Keeper of the House of Correction at
Tothill fields the sum of Thirty five Shillings and Nine pence in
full of his Accounts for one years Subsistance of Vagarants Received
therein by him And that the Receipt of the said John Stephens< no role > together
with this Order shall be a Sufficient discharge to the said Treasurer
for such Payment.
