Mr. Parry because she saw the Venetian safe thro'
the passage into Mr. Parrys Yarel before the Blow
was givenThat Mr. Parry said he would have no
Mobb or disturbance abt. his House & it was upon
this Saying the Sailor Struck at Mr. Parry. Says she
did not see the Man now in Custody Strike any Body
but says he was one of the two Sailors who apaulted
the Venetians first & was in Company all the while

blue Anckor in Cable Street Spr . That on last Sunday
fortnight there was a Sailors Wedding at her Masters
abt. 14 or 15. in NumberThat the next day the Sailors
wife gave [..] to the Sailors. That abt. Noon she was
carrying a Pot of Beer to Mrs. Reads & Passing Mr.
Parrys house she saw him with his Arm up agt. the Door
post & saw a Forreigner run under his Arm into the
Passage to avoid the Mobbdid not soe that the Forreignr.
was bloodydid not take notice of itbut saw Dempsey
Strike Parry over the head with a thick Stick wch. had
four nails in it at the bottomknows it had four Nails
in it for she saw it afterwards in Dempseys handbut
hath not seen the Stick since she saw it in Dampseys
handsays she Thinks Dampsey in Striking at the
Forreigner struck Mr. Parry. Says she is sure it was
Dempsey that struck Parry & Says she did not see
the other Sailor now in custody Strike any body; or wher.
he had a stick or not in his hand says when Parry
was struck she saw the blood ran down & that he put
both his hands up to his head.
