Middlesex


At the General Quarter Session of the Peace holden for
the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in
the County aforesaid by Adjournment on Thursday the Seventeenth
Day of April in the Thirty third year of the Reign of our Sovereign
Lord George the Second King of Great Britain Etc Before Bartholomew
Hammond

William Timbrell< no role > Esquires and others their
Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King assigned to keep the
Peace in the County aforesaid and also to hear and determine
divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdeeds committed in the
same County

Where as the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of Actor in the County of
Middlesex have exhibited their petitionand
Appeal
at this Session Praying amongst other
things that the Treasurer of this County may be
Ordered to pay them such a Sum of Money as to
this Court Shall Seem reasonable for their Charges
on account of one Elizabeth Cooke< no role > This name instance is in set 453. This set is in the group(s): MothersPS . who was lately
delivered of a male Bastard Child in the said Parish
And whereas it doth Appear to this Court that
the said Parish has been put to the expence
of Forty four Shillings in and about the relieving
and maintaining the said Elizabeth Cooke< no role > on account
of her being deliver'd of the said Child there This
Court doth therefore in pursuance of the
Statute made in that behalf Order that the
Treasurer of this County do pay to the said Church-
Wardens & Overseers of the Poor or one of them
the Sum of forty four Shillings hereby Adjudged
a reasonable Satisfaction for the said Charges
