The Information of John William Montran< no role > & taken before
me one of his Majestys Justice of the peace for the
Said County

Who being upon Oath saith that on [..] Tuesday Morning
last about Two o'Clock this Ins went into a Night Cellar
in Charles street Covent Garden (to ask for a Man which
Lodged in the house with this Ins) And a Man now present
who calls himself George Cavenagh< no role > told this Ins the Mar
would be there presently whereupon this Ins was Imediately
Seized by the Arms & pulled or a Bench by the sd George
who forced this Ins to drink some high or which then Ins
[..] to be Run and Water and this Ins pulling out some
Money to pay for the liquorinamongst which was 2 Quinea & some Silver
the sd. George thereon matched the sd. Money out of
this Inss hand and the sd George & two other persons
unknown to Ins pulled & shored this Ins about and the
sd. George put his hand to the Hob of this Ins & stole
there out his Watch and the sd. George then put his
hand in the pockets of then Ins and took away his
[..] Snuff Box And this Ins further saith that he was afraid
to call out or make any resistance for fear that the
said George & the other persons shod. take away his life
