To the Worshipfull his Majesties Justices of the Peace Assembled
at the General or Quarter Sessions of the peace holden at Hicks's
hall in and for the County of Middlesex and Liberty of Westminster
in the same County

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of the holy Trinity in Guildford in the County of Surry

Sheweth


That Benjamin Cox< no role > Esqr, one of his Majestys Justices
of the Peace for the said County of Middlesex and Liberty of Westminster Did by an
Order or pass under his hand and Seal Dated the Eleventh day of February instant
require the Constable and other Officer of the Peace of the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields
in the said County of Middlesex and Liberty of Westminster to Convey Ann Nutt< no role > Wife of
[..] Nutt (gone from her) who was apprehended as a [..] and Vagabond in the
said Parish of St. Martin in the Fields (videlicet) wandering and Lodging in the
open Air, from the said Parish of St. Martin in the Fields to the Parish of St. Mary
at Lambeth in the said County of Surry And to deliver her to the Constable or other
Officer of such Parish And the said Ann Nutt to be thence Carried on to the said
Parish of the Holy Trinity in Guildford aforesd. as the place of her last legal
Settlement - And that the said Ann Nutt< no role > was by virtue of the said Order or pass
Conveyed from the said parish of St. Martin in the Fields to the said Parish of
the Holy Trinity where she now remains Chargeable to the same Parish

Your Petitioners apprehending themselves aggrieved by the
said Order or Pass made by the said Justice as aforesaid
Do therefore humbly Appeal against the same
