Westminster , To wit.


To the Constable , Headborough , Tythingman, and other
Officer of the Peace of the Parish of St. Margaret
in the City of Westminster to receive and convey.
And to the Church-Wardens, Chapel-Wardens, or
Overseer of the Poor of the Parish, Place or Pre-
cinct of Chelmsford in the County
of Essex or either of them to re-
ceive and obey.

WHEREAS Mary Field< no role > & her 2 Children Vizt
Ann< no role > aged upwards of 7 Years, & Edward< no role >
aged 2 Years, was
apprehended in the said Parish of St. Margaret, Westminster , as a Rogue
and Vagabond, (videlicet) by her own Confession and
other Circumstances
and upon Examination of the said Mary Fild< no role >
taken before Me upon Oath (which
Examination is hereunto annexed) it doth appear that the last Legal
Settlement of the said Mary Fild< no role > & her 2 Childn,
is in the parish of Chelmsford in Essex

These the therefore to require you the said Constable and other Officer
to Convey the said Vagrant to the parish of Statford in Essex
that being the first parish in the next Precinct thro' which
ought to pass in the direct, Way to the said parish of Chelmsford
to which they are to be sent and to deliver them to
the Constable or other Officer of such parish in such next Precinct,
together with this Pass, and the Duplicate of the Examination of the said
Vagrant taking his Receipt for the same.
And the said Vagrant to be thence conveyed on in like Manner to the said
parish of Chelmsford there to be delivered to some
Church-Warden, Chapel-Warden, or Overseer of the Poor of the same
parish to be there provided for according to Law. And you the
said Church-Wardens, Chapel-Wardens, and Overseer of the Poor are here-
by required to receive the said Person and provide for them as aforesaid.
Given under my Hand and Seal this 2nd, Day of June
in the Year of our Lord 17 58.
