Middlesex to witt


Joseph Chapman< no role > of the Parish of Saint Ann in the County of
Middlesex Waterman maketh Oath and saith that Titus Salter< no role > the
Defendant in this Cause is Master or Commander of the Ship Nathaniel
which in or about the month of August last was taken into his Majesties
Service as a Transport to carry Forces abroad to North America
and then to proceed to Piscata way in New England And this Deponent
further saith that the said Defendant soon after set sail from the
Port of London on the said intended Voyage and believes he is now
proceeding on the said Voyage and is not expeited to return to England
before the month of September next at this Deponent is informed
and believes, About which time as this Deponent is also informed
and believes the said Defendant will return and not before
