Westminster , To wit.


To the Constable, Headborough , Tythingman , and other
Officer of the Peace of the Parish of St. Margaret
in the City of Westminster , to receive and convey.
And to the Church-Wardens, Chapel-Wardens, or
Overseer of the Poor of the Parish, Place or Pre-
cinct of Burton on ye Water in the County
of Gloucester or either of them to re-
ceive and obey.

WHEREAS Ann Adams< no role > (Wife of John Adams< no role > who
has been gone from her upwards of 8 Years) was
apprehended in the said Parish of St. Margaret Westminster , as a Rogue
and Vagabond, (videlicet) by her own Confession and other
Circumstances

and upon Examination of the said Ann Adams< no role >
taken before me upon Oath (which
Examination is hereunto annexed) it doth appear that her last Legal
Settlement is in the parish of Burton on the Water
in the County of Gloucester

These are therefore to require you the said Constable and other Officer
to Convey the said Vagrant to the parish of Kensington in
that being the first parish in the next Precinct thro' which she
ought to pass in the direct Way to the said parish of Burton on
the Water to which she is to be sent and to deliver her to
the Constable or other Officer of such parish in such next Precinct,
together with this Pass, and the Duplicate of the Examination of the said
Vagrant taking his Receipt for the same.
And the said Vagrant to be thence conveyed on in like Manner to the said
parish of Burton on ye Water there to be delivered to the some
Church-Warden, Chapel-Warden, or Overseer of the Poor of the same
parish to be there provided for according to Law. And you the
said, Church-Wardens, Chapel-Wardens, and Overseers of the Poor are here-
by required to receive the said Person and provide for her as aforesaid.
Given under my Hand and Seal this 15th. Day of December
in the Year of our Lord 1757.
