Appearance on this Prosecution maketh Oath and saith that the Defendant
Michael Kennedy< no role >
hath been absent from his Habitation at saltpetre Bank
in the parish of saint Mary White Chapel
for about six Weeks last past and
that this Deponent upon diligent inquiry after the said Defendant hath seen
informed that the said Defendant is gone to Sea and that he was catered and
Still is Boatswain of His Majesty's Ship the Cormerant and that the said
Ship hath lately sailed from plymouth upon a Cruise and that the said
ship is expected to Return is a Short Time which Information this Deponant
verily beleives to be True And this Deponent also saith that he hath been informed
that the prosecutor James Scarlet< no role >
is also now at Sea in one of His Majestys Ships
which Information concerning the said James Scarlet< no role >
this Deponent also verily believes
to be True and this Deponent doth believe he shall be able to get the said
Dependant to appear at the next sessions to be holden for the County of Middlesex
to answer to the said Indictment
