Forasmuch as divers Vagrants and other Persons Committed
to the House of Correction of this County have heretofore sometimes
upon the same day they have been there Committed or the next day
after been Bailed out of the same house by one Justice of Peace
only whereas indeed no Person bailiable by the Law Should be
theretosafelyCommitted by reason whereof the number of Rogues &
Vagrants do daily increase within this County for prevention
of which enormity It is Ordered that from henceforth no Person
committed to the said House of Correction of this County shall
be let to Bail but before Two or more of His Majesty's Justices
of Peace of the said County And incase any one Justice of
Peace of this County not knowing of this Order do take bail of
any Person Committed to the said house of Correction that then
the Governor before he discharge the same Person do attend
suchtheJustice of Peace with a Copy of this Order under the hand
of the Clerk of the Peace which doubtless will give him
Satisfaction And if any Justice of Peace Present at this Session
or acquainted with this Order do of himself and by his own
authoritie without the Consent & Assistance of one other Justice of
Peace take bail of any Person Committed to the said house
of Correction as aforesaid & thereupon direct his Warrant to
the Governor of the said house Commanding him thereby
to discharge & set at liberty the body of the said Person that then
the said Governor by Vertue of this Order agreed upon by the
whole Court & conceived for the Good of the countie & for reform align
