The Humble Petition & Appeal of the Churchwardens &
Overseers of the Parish of Saint Mary Abchurch London

Sheweth

That by a Warrant or Order of Removal bearing date the Tenth day of
November One thousand seven hundred and fifty five under the hand & seal of
Samuel Bever< no role > Esquire one of his Majesties Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex Elizabeth Inwood< no role > and her Female Bastard Child aged about four
years were removed from theParish of Kensington in the said County of Middx
to the said Parish of Saint Mary Abchurch in London as the place of their last legall
Settlement.

That your Petitioners find themselves aggrieved by part of the said
Order or Warrant whereby the said Elizabeth Inwoods Female Bastard Child is
removed from the said Parish of Kensington to the said Parish of Saint Mary
Abchurch and humbly Appeal against that part of the said Order or Warrant

Your Petitioners therefore humbly pray That
you will be pleased to Order the Churchwardens &
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Kensington
and all other persons concerned to attend this Court
this present Sessions and to hear & abide the Judgment
and determination of this Court touching the premises
And that your Petitioners may have such Releif therein
as to Justice and Law doth appertain

And your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc.
