by the hands of the Sum of Mr. Higgs Treasurer
the sum of One pound two being shillings beinghalf a Years Assessment due at
Michaelmas last past charged upon the DwellingHouse, at Hicks Hall
by Virtue of an Act
of Parliament made in the 20th Year of his present Majesty's Reign, intituled, An Act
for repealing the Several Rates and Duties upon Houses, Windows, and Lights, and for
granting to his Majesty other Rates and Duties upon Houses, Windows, and Lights, and
for raising the Sum of four Millions four Hundred Thousand Pounds, by Annuities to be
charged on the said Rates and Duties. }
