the Information of Dennis Sherne< no role > of the
Parish of Paddington Gent : taken before as
two of His Majestys Justices of the Peace for
the Sd: County.

Who being Upon Oath saith that on Monday last this Informant
was going over the fields towards Paddington he was over taken
by a person now present who calls himself [..] Rowley [..]
who forced a discourse with this Informant untill he
came [..] near to [..] Mary bone Pack and then asked
this Informant what it was a Clock and this Informant
took out his Watch & told the sd: Rowley [..] that is was
between two and three when the sd: [..] Rowley desired to
see the sd: Watch and instantly forced the Sd: Watch
out of the hand of this Informant and demanded the
Buckles out of the shews of this Informant and the money
out of his Pocket and this Informant gave him a
One Guniea and four Shillings and the [..] Rowley returned this
Informant two Shillings of his Money back and
this Informant desired the sd: [..] Rowley not to take his
Watch, when the Sd: [..] Rowley Swearing told this Informant
that he should not have the Watch unless he advertised
Twenty Guniea reward which this Informant did
