At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County
of Middx at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the County aforesaid by Adjournment on Friday the
fourth day of July in the Twenty eighth Year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second
King of Great Britain Etc before Thomas Lane< no role > George Errington< no role > Merry Teshmaker< no role > George
Greene
< no role > Esqrs . and others their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King assigned to keep the
Peace in the County aforesaid and also to hear and determination divers Felonies Trespasses and
other Misdeeds committed in the same County.

Upon hearing of the Appeal of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St. George Hanover Square in the County of Middx against a Pass Warrant or Order
under the Hands and Seals of John Cox< no role > and Stephen Clarke< no role > Esqr. two of his Majestys
Justices of the Peace for the said County of Middx (one being of the Quorum) bearing date
the Nineteenth day of June last whereby Thomas Hawkesley< no role > and his two Children by
Alice< no role > his late Wife deceased Vigt. Roger< no role > aged seven Years and a half and upwards and
Mary Kendall< no role > Aged three Years and upwards were removed from the Parish of St. Giles in
the Fields in the said County to the said Parish of St. George Hanover Square as the
place of their Last legal Settlement And upon hearing of what was alledged by Mr.
Mr. Pheadris of Council for the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
of st. Giles in the Fields and also by Mr. Lane of Council for the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the said Parish of St. George Hanover Square This Court doth disallow
of the said Appeal and doth ratify and confirm the aforesaid Pass Warrant or Order
of the said two Justices of the Peace and the same is hereby ratified and confirmed
Accordingly
