To the Worshippfull his Majesties Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex in their General Session of the Peace
Assembled

The humble Petition of Barny Murphy< no role > a poor Prisoner

Sheweth.


That your Petitioner being a Prosecutor upon a Bill
of Indictment Preferred and found some Anne since against
Patrick< no role > and James O Haro< no role > in this honoble Court for a Assault
the same came on to be Tryed last Sessions and the Defendants
were Acquitted thereon and your Petitioner was upon the said
Tryal taken into Custody and Committed to New Prison upon
Suspicion of being Guilty of Perjury on giving his Evidence there in.

That the Defendants have this Sessions Preferred and
found an Indictment against your Petitioner for the above
Offence and Several of your Petitioners Material Witnesses,
(without whose Testimony he cannot Safeley Proceed to the
Tryal of the said Indictment) being at Present act to be
met with

Your Petitioner therefore humbly Prays your
Worshipps will be Pleased to Deferr the Tryal of
the said Indictment untill the next Sessions and
that your Petitioner may in the mean time be
Admitted to Bail

And your Petitioner (as in duty bound) shall
ever pray Etc
