To the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields , within the
Liberty of Westminster , in the County of Middlesex ;
and to the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Much Baddow in the
County of Essex and to each and every of them

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto
Us, Two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace ,
for the City and Liberty aforesaid (One where-
of being of the Quorum) by the Church-Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St. Martin
in the Fields , That Sarah Pavitt< no role > Widow of Jacob
Sampson Pavitt
< no role > deceased and their two Children
to wit Sarah< no role > aged Five Years and Jacob< no role > aged
two Years
have lately intruded and
come into the [..] Parish of St. Martin in the Fields ,
and are become Chargeable to the same;
We the said Justices, upon Examination of the Premises
upon Oath and other Circumstances, do adjudge the
same to be true, and do also adjudge the Place of the
last legal Settlement of the said Sarah Pavitt< no role > and two
Children to be in the Parish of Much Baddow
in the County of Essex aforesaid

THESE are therefore, in his Majesty's Name.
to require you, on Sight hereof, to remove and
convey the said Sarah Pavitt< no role > and two Children
from and out of your said Parish of St. Martin in the
Fields , to the said Parish of Much Baddow in the
County of Essex
and Them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor there, or to some, or One of them,
together with this our Order, or a true Copy hereof,
who are hereby required to receive and provide for
Them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals this Fifth Day of February 1754
