To the Worshipful his Majesties Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex in their General Quarter Session
of the Peace Assembled

The Humble Peticon and appeal of the
Churchwarden [..] & Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of Saint Andrew Holborn
above the Bars in the said County

Sheweth


That by vertue of an Order or Pass Warrt. under
the Hands & Seals of Hamond Crosse< no role > & William
Withers
< no role > Esqrs . Two of his Majesties Justices of the
Peace for the said County (whereof one is of the Quorum)
bearing date the Twentieth Instant Margaret
Rake
< no role > the Wife of Samuel Rake< no role > (who hath deserted
her) & her Three Children Elizabeth< no role > aged about Twelve
Years Thomas< no role > Aged about Six Years and Ann< no role > Aged
about Two Years were removed from the Parish of
St. James Clerkenwell in the said County to the sd. Parish
of St. Andrew Holborn above the Bars as the Place of their
last legal Settlement

Your Petrs. thinking themselves
Aggrieved by the said Order or Pass Warrt.
of the sd. Two Justices Appeal to this
Court against the same & humbly Pray
that your Worships will be pleased to
Appoint some day in the next General Session
of the Peace to be held at Hicks Hall in & for
the said County for the hearing & determining
of the same
