Mr. Joseph Robinson< no role > Surgeon On his Oath saith that Thomas Anderson< no role >
was on the 7th. of Decemr. brought to the London Hospital upon Examining his
Wounds that had been stitched up he cut the stitches and Enlarged the Wound
in Order to give free Discharge out of the Cavaty of the Body, upon further
Examination found the Wound of the logdth of One Inch passing in be twist
the 2d. & 3d. Ribs counting upwards, and had a difficulty of Breathing
when he came into the said Hospital, And a large Flux of Blood
issued from the Wound, says he was Imediately dressd & put to Bed, from
which time he had all possible care taken of him untill he dyed, which
was on the 23d. of the same Mouth of Decemr. Further says that the next
Day after he dyed he opend his Body & found a Wound passing in
betwixt the 2d. & 3d. Ribs fliguely upwards, upon opening farther
found the Wound to pene trald through the Substance of the Kidneys
Obliguely upwards by which Means it had divided the Emulgent Acteries
and Veins in the Kidney, which was the Occasion of a large flux
of Blood during his Heness, also found a Wound Contiguous to the
aforesaid Wound passing through the Diaphragm into the Cavaty of
the Breast; Wounds of which is deemed Mortal, [..] Opening the
Breast found a large Quantity of Coagulated Blood in the Cavaty of
the Breast, Adhearing to the Internal Membrain which lines the
Cavaty of the Breast, on Examining his Bowells found a large
part of the Bowell which lay Coutigners to the Wound in a state
of Inflamation, Adhearing to the internal Membrain which lines
the Cavaty of the Abdomen; Upon Examining the Uriters and the
Bladder found the Uriter on the side Affected in a state of Inflamation
and also the Bladder full of Coagulated Blood, from which
Circumstances it appears to this Depont. that the said Wound w [..]
