Middlesex


The Examination and Voluntary Confession of Robert Keys< no role > of the
Parish of St. Giles in the Fields in the County of Middx
Taken before me Richard Chambelayne< no role > Esqr , one of
his Majesties Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex

And first this Informant, Says that last Night
he was Drinking at the Sighn of the Red Lyon in Wardour
Street Cold Bath Fields and that Mr. William Nash< no role >
of the Parish of St. James Clerkenwell Fallow Chandler
Treated this Deponent and a Woman he had along with
him with three Pints of het, and that About Twelve o Clock
Last Night he went from the said House along with the Said
William Nash< no role > and Presented to Shew him the Way home
But instead of that he Took him up into a Field called the Space Field Cold Bath
Fields and there threw him down and Took out of his
Pocket Two half Guinea's in Gold and three half Crowne
in Silver the Property of the Said William Nash< no role > and two
Show & Buckles of his Fees and his Hat & Wig And this Deponent further Says that
The Woman who was along with him hose Name he
does not know Persuaded him to Rob the said William
Nash
< no role > and Told him he had get a good deal of Mony
About him worth their Taking
