Middx taken upon oath this 5th day of
June 1753 touching Mr Robert Wright< no role >
the Coroner for the County of Middx
taking mony of him the said Gilbert
Lawrence< no role > for the burying of his son who
was unfortunately Killed the 30th of Sep-
tember Last at the sign of the black horse
in the parish of Ruislip in the County of
Middx by John Bugberd< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. of the same
parish

This Examinant on his Oath saith that on
Saturday the 30th of September Last he was called out of
house and told that an [..] unfortunate blow that was
given to his son Gilbert Lowrence< no role > by one John [..]
Bugberd< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. at the black horse a publick house had Killed [..] That
when he this Examinant Came he found is son Dead: that
on sunday the next morning he applyed himself
to William Ashby< no role > a Neughbouring Justices of the peace
who Granted him a Warrant for apprehending, of
John Bugberd< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. of Ruislip the man that gave my
son his Death; who readily Granted it the Exami
-nant, but on search the Murtherer had flower
from; Justice; I then Ask Mr Ashby what I must
do, relative to the Coroner, who advised me to
gots Mr Wright the Coroner and advise him of
the Accident in order for the Burial of My Child
Murdered; John Lawrence< no role > my Nephen went
with me accordingly to London Sunday Oct [..]
1st-1752 found Mr Wright the Coroner in the
fleet poison ; who took of me this Examinant
Gilbert Lawrence three pounds the very day 1s octobr [..]
1752; gave me a Warrant or paper for the burial
of my son; and that her or his agent for him Ever
had taken any inquisition, or Ever came to
Ruislip to ask any questions about my sons unfortun [..]
