These are to Certifye ye: at the Session of Our and Terminer
and Genl. Goal Delivery held at Kingston upon Thames in
& for this County of Surry on Thursday the 15th day of Augst. now
last past Matthew Penn late of the pish of St Saviour
Southwark in ye sd. County Labourer was duly Tryed & Convicted
of felonously stealing a Certain Quantity [..] Glass Bottles of
the Value of 4s: & 10d ye Goods and Chattles of Gerrard Vanhorn
and thereupon reced Judgment of Frans protection for the tenn
of [..] Seven years And these are further to Certify that
at the same Session of Our and Terminer and Gone. Goal Delivering
he the sd. Matthew Denn together with one John Phillips< no role > late of the
Same Pish of St. Saviours Southwark Labourer new Jointly Tryed
upon a Certain Indictment then and them preferred against
them for feloniously Stealing Eighteen Dozen of Glass Bottles
of the Value of thirty Six Shillings of the Goods and Chattles of
one Gerrard Vanhern< no role > privately in his Warehours & that the said
Matthew Penn< no role > and John Phillips< no role > were and each of them was
Acquitted and found not guilty upon the sd. last Mentioned
