To the Right Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the County of Middlesex in their General Quarter
Sessions of the Peace holden for the said County at Hicks Hall
Assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields
within the Liberty of Westminster in the said
County.

Sheweth


That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under
the Hands and Seals of James Croft< no role > and Henry Fielding< no role >
Esquires two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
Liberty of Westminster aforesaid (one whereof being of the
Quorum) bearing Date the 27th. Day of May last past
Letitia Moorcroft< no role > Singlewoman was removed and Conveyed
form the Parish of Saint Paul Covent Garden in the said
Liberty to the said Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields
as the Place of her last legal Settlement whereby your
Petitioners conceive themselves to be aggrieved and against
the said Order do Appeal.

humbly pray your Worships to appoint
a short Day in this present Session to
hear and Determine the Matter
touching the said Appeal.
