To the Worshipfull His Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middx Assembled in their
General Quarter Sessions of the Peace

The Humble Petition of the Church Wardens
& Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Ealing
in the said County

Sheweth


That on or about the thirteenth day of
Novemr. last as one Ann Derrick< no role > otherwise
Ann Bromley< no role > Singlewoman was wandring
and begging in the said parish she was Delivered
of a Male Bastard Child there, whereby she &
her said Child became Chargeable to the said
Parish

That your Petrs. did detain the said Woman
in Custody until the twenty Sixth day of
Decemr last when they Conveyed her before
King Gould< no role > This name instance is in set 235. Esqr one of It is Majesty's Justices
of the peace for this County who Examined
her and Committed her to the house of
Correction at Clerkenwell Pursuant to the
Statute in such Case made, where she now
Remains

Yor. Petrs. therefore humbly pray that
your Worships will be pleased to Order
the Treasurer of this County to Pay
Yor. Petrs. such a Sum of money as you
shall adjudge a Reasonable Satisfaction
for the Charges the said parish has been
put unto on Accot. of the said Ann
Derrick otherwise Bromley and her said
Child
