In Pursuance of a Warrant to me
Directed under the hands and Seals of
Richd. Ricards< no role > . & Boulton Mainwaring< no role > Esqrs ,
Two of his Majesty's Justices of the peace
for the County aforesaid (In Order) to make
a General Privy Search on Wednesday ye 26th
Instant at Night; within the Several Parishes
and Places, in the said Division for all Rogues,
Vaga bonds, & other Disorderly Persons
which said Privy Search was as Follows

Searched Several Houses of I'll Fame in
Cabel Street in the Parish of St. George but
found no Persons there to Apprehend, From
thence Proceeded to a Place Called Goodmans
Fields Wills in the Parish of St. Mary
White Chaple and found therein a very
Large Audience of People but saw no Perfor-
mences on the Stage, the Doors Leading thereon
being Closely Barr'd up and no admittance
to be has that Way; nor no Other but by going
over a Range of Iron Spikes, Fronting the
Stage, which with some Difficulty was Done
and when upon the Stage was Pallted by the
Aforesaid Audience, with a Bottle, Several Glass
Pipes, Oranges, & Other Things: With loud
Hissings and Hollowings at the Same Time:
After Being upon the Stage Half an Hour or
More And Finding the Clamour of the People
Increasing, though & Proper to Retire, through
an Apprehention of Danger to my Self and
the Other Officers Attending

From thence Proceeded to Lemon Street , and
Aliff Street in the Parish of St. Mary White
Chaple aforesaid
