At the General Session ofo the peace of our Sovereign Lord the King holden
for the County of Middx at Hicks hall in Saint John street in the County for said
by adjournment on Thursday the sixth day of December in the twenty to with year of
the sign of our sovereign Lord George the Lord George the Second King of Great Britain Etc

Whereas there was payable from Mr. Thomas Cavanagh< no role > late Keeper of new
prison at Clerenkewell in this County since deceased by vertue of his Appointment
to be Keeper made by the Justices of his peace of He said County, Unto Hid. Matron of
the House of Correction at Clerkenwell His yearly Sum of ten pounds as a Salary for her
trouble and paines in performing the busyness of Matron payable to her by
quartely payments, And whereas there was due and owing from the said
Thomas Cavanagh< no role > unto Mr. Ann style< no role > present Matron of the said House of-
Correction the sum of fifty shillings for a ten trouble and paines in doing and
performing the said busyness of Matron for and quarter of a year ending at
Michaelmas his last, which ought to have been paid but was not paid to
her by the said Thomas [..] Cavanagh< no role > he dying insolvent, and there [..]
[..] will be also and & owing unto the said present Matron the
further sum of fifty Shillings for doing & performing the said buyness of
Matron for one quarter more at Christmas next, which two sum of fifty shillings
amount to gether to the sum of five pounds. which this Court in of opinion ought
to be made goods and answerd to her out of the County Rate monty, Edward
Holly
< no role > bone the present keeper of new prison having not reced any profit fro
the same, It is therefore accred by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role >
Treasure of this County do pay the said sum of five pound unto [..] the said
Ann Style< no role > in full of her said salary to Christians aforesaid where receipt
together with this Order shall be a sufficient dischrage to the said Treasurer-
for such payment
