I haw bound over one Confins to
prosecute one Holloway & Linton for stealing two Geese, Whom I
have admitted to Bail being so hishing an affair, but Linton
has signed a sort of or Confession & no Reason present to prove it
but myself so am Unwilling to be at the Honble of attending with
it at the Old Baily
& Holloway will also prosecute Consins for
the his OffenceThey intend to prefer their Bills on Tuesday
but as they are bailed, when they will appear, I can't say, so
as You thought last Sessions of being Chairman this, in
absence of Mr Lane; Desire the Favour of your Setting the
Indictment be tryed at Hicks's Hall
, being so tuiral a Matter
& I will endeavour to attend you then on Thursday & if the
Felons appear to get them on that Day
I have sent their Recognizance to
the Clerk of the Peace
I house You'll serve me herein & I will
take Case for the future, if I false another Confession, to have
a Clerk to prove it & am
