to County of Middx and to the Petty Constables of the Seval
parishes & places within the sd Division Hundredin the sdCounty

Whereas Complaint has been made before us & others
of his [..] Majties. Justices of the peace for the County of Middx
That great humbell of comon players of Interludes for
Hire Coin or Reward actt. Represent or perform or cause to
be acted represented or performed Interludes plays forces or
other Entainment of the Stage or some part or parts, therein
not being recharged by Law in a certain place called the
New Wells in the parish of St James Clerkenwell in the sd
County of beggers & other Corse idle & disorderly Persons do
Infest the publick places streets allyes & places within
the sd Division Hundred & County agt the form of the Statute in such
case made & provided

These are therefore in his Majtes. have Stickly to
Charge & Comand you & every one of you takeing to your
assistance Sufficient Men of the sd. County of Middx
make a Genal privy Search in the night of this day
being the Fifteenth day of this instant September
at the said Wells called the how wells in the said
parish of St James Clerkenwell And throughout the
Several Sheets Lands & places within you Division in the said County
of Middx for the finding & Apprehending of Rogues
Vagabonds & loose idle & disorderly Persons and to take &
bring such Rogues Vagabonds & loose idle & disorderly Poors
as you shall so apprehend before us or any other of his Majties
Justices of the peace of the said County to be dealt with
according to Law And make a Due return of this precept
to us or such other of his Majties Justices of the peace as shall
be Assembled at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the sd. County
of Middx on Monday next being the Seventeenth day of
this instant September at Ten of the Clock in the forenoon
As you will answer the Contrary thereof at your peril given
under our hands & Seals this fifteenth day of September
1750
