To the Right Worshipfull his Majesties Justices of the Peace for
the County of Middlesex in their General Quarter Sessions of the
Peace holden for the said County at Hick's Hall Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Hendon in the County
of Middlesex

Sheweth


That By Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order Under the [..]
and Seals of Henry Norris< no role > and Lister Selman< no role > Esquires two of his Majesties
Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex aforesaid (One being of the
Quorum) bearing Date the Twenty fifth day of August last past Martha
Waters
< no role > (in the said Order called) the Wife of Daniel Waters< no role > and three
Children (in the said Order called their lawfull Issue) hamely John< no role > Aged
Twelve Years Richard< no role > Aged Nine Years, And Martha< no role > Six Years Old
were Removed and Conveyed from the Parish of Saint Mary at Stratford
Bow in the said County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Hendon
as the Place of their last legal Settlement

That Your Petitioner apprehend themselves aggrieved by
said Pass Warrant or Order And the Judgment of the said two Justices
And Do therefore Humbly Appeal to this Court against the same
But in Regard That One of Your Petitioners Material Witnesses (and without
whose Testimony Your Petitioners cannot as they are Advised with Safety
proceed to Try their said Appeal) is now Absent and Cannot be produced
at this present Quarter Sessions of the Peace to give his Testimony
on the Behalf of Your Petitioners (and it being in Your Petrs. own delay)

Your Petitioners therefore Humbly Pray That
This Court will be pleased to Appoint some day [..]
the next General Sessions of the Peace to be held for
this County, to hear and Determine the matter
touching their said Appeal.

And Your Petrs shall Ever Pray Etc
