The Information of John Chambers< no role > of
Chick Lane Labourer taken before me
this 18th: of July 1749.

Who being upon Oath Says that about a fortnight
agoe he with Mathew Bedford< no role > and another Man
whose Name is unknown, Stopt a Man by the
New River head Islington and feloniously took
from him one Silver Watch which Watch they
sold to a Jew in Dukes Place for one Guinea
and a half

The Information of Wm. Whitebread< no role > near the
Watchhouse in High Holborn Watchmaker ,
taken before me this 18th. July 1749.

Who being upon Oath says, that on Saturday last was a
fortnight about Eleven of the Clock at Night as he was
coming from Islington he was Assaulted near the New
Riverhead by three person one of which came up to him
and Clapp'd a pistol to his head and said Damn you I will
blow your Brains out if you make any Noise, Says that
the other two came up and took from him a Silver Watch
a Bunch of Kings, three Shillings in Silver and about
two pence in half pence the property of this Informt.
Says that it was so Dark at the time the Robbery was
Committed that he cannot pretend to Swear to any face;
