The Information of Charles Taylor< no role > ,-
taken before me this 8th, July 1749.

Who being upon Oath Says, that he together with
Thomas Davies< no role > , Joseph Parsons< no role > , Joseph Finder< no role > , Francis
Finch
< no role > , Thomas Kent< no role > , and Edward Abbott< no role > , who goes by
the Nickname of the parson, have at several times
within this Twelve Months last [..] past feloniously
taken and Carryed away out of Several Lighters
which were pool Measure and to be filled away
without the Inspection of the Meters several parcells
of Coals the property of persons Unknown, [..]
anto the house of Richard Unwin< no role > This name instance is in set 3562. in Beaufort
Buildings at the request of the said Unwin, who
was present at the delivery of most of the aforesd.
Coals andwouldfrequently Damnd them for not
filling the Sacks full enough, Says that the said
UnwinwouldSays when any pool Coals came to the
Wharf Now my Ladds you will make a good Weeks
Work on it, And this Informt. says that on a Saturday
Night when the said Unwin used to pay them then Weeks
Wages the sd. Unwin said My Ladds you must have
a Bowl of punch which they agreed to, and as
soon as they had [..] Drank up the Punch, Unwin
would sayd to them, the Liquor is so much, and here is a
Shilling a peice more for you, Says that he has known
the said Unwin Sell three Chaldron of the said Coals
to a Man in King Street Westminster , And this
Informt. further says that when Mr. Waring a Brewer in
Gardiners Lane Westmr. Ordered any Coals to be brought
to his house, the said UnwinwouldOrdered the [..] Carmen
to Drive a Chaldron of them to one Tow topp in the
