The Several Informations of John Simons< no role > [..]
Servant of Michael Haverside< no role > of the Hamlet of
Ratcliff in the said County Gent : Alexander Eads< no role > of
the Parish of Saint Dunstan Stepeney in the said
County Gardner , and Weldon Knight< no role > of the Parish
of Saint Ann Lime house in the County aforesaid
Rope Maker Taken upon Oath before me one of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said County
this Twenty Seventh Day of October 1748.

And First this Informant John Simons< no role > on his Oath
Deposeth and Saith That about Seven o' Clock
this Evening he was a coming thro' Stepeney
Church yard with several parcels of goods the
property of Miss Basoten, when he was Stopt
by Thomas Earl< no role > in Company with Andrew Mr Daniel
and the said Thomas Earle< no role > , did feloniously take from
him the said goods and deliver the same to the said
Andrew McDaniel< no role > under a pretence of being
Uncustomed goods, And then immediately after this said Informant
having Challeng'd them with robing him of the said
goods the said Informant Alexr. Eades having
immediately after conce up, pickt up the said goods
they having dropt the same between the Pasts
in the Church yard: And this said Informant Weldon
Knight found one of Miss Basden's Shoes upon
the said Mc Daniel when he was Taken.
