Middlesex to Wit

To all Constables, Headboroughs, and other his Majestys
Officers and Ministers within the County of Middlesex
and to every of them whome it may concerne

These are to will and require, and in his Majesty's name to
charge and command you upon Sight hereof to bring before us
and others his Majesty's Justices of the Peace of the County
aforesaid at the Sessions of Peace now holden at Hicks's
Hall in Saint John Street , in and for the said County the Body
of [..] Chook [..] Assault report
Mary< no role > the Wife of Thomas Smith< no role >
(if the Court be them and there sitting) or if not before us or some
other of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace of the same County to
find sufficient Sureties for his personal Appearance at
this present Sessions to answer the same and all such other Matters
as on his Majesty's behalfe shall be objected against him [..]
And if he cannot be taken during this present Sessions That
then so soon after as he shall be taken, you bring or cause him
to be brought before us or some others of his Majesty's Justices [..]
of the Peace of the said County, to find sufficient Sureties
for he personall Appearance at the next Sessions of the Peace
to be holden for the said County to answer as aforesaid and
further to be dealt withall according to Justice Hereof you are
not to faile at your Perills Dated in open Sessions at
Hicks's Hall aforsaid this tenthday of
September in the year of our Lord 1748 .
