At the General Quarter Sessions of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King holden for
the County of Middx at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in the County aforesaid by
adjournment on Thursday the thirteenth day of October in the twenty second Year of the reign
of our Sovereign Lord George the second King of Great Britain Etc before Thomas Lane< no role >
Richard Ricards< no role > John Lawton< no role > Walter Berry< no role > Esqrs . and other their Follows Justices of our-
said Lord the King assigned to keep the peace in the County aforesaid and also to hear and
determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdeeds committed in the same County.

Upon hearing of the Appeal of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish
of Saint Botolph without Bishopgate London against an Order under the hands and seals
of William Withers< no role > and Francis hole< no role > Esqrs two of his Majestys Justices of the peace for
the County of Middx (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the twenty fourth
day of September One Thousand seven hundred and forty eight whereby Alice Lovet< no role > Wife
of William Lovet< no role > (in the said Order called Alice last boult Singlewoman ) was removed
from and out of the Parish of Saint Luke in the said County of Middx to the said-
Parish of Saint Botolph without Bishopgate London as the place of her last legal
Settlement And upon hearing of what was alledged by Councel for the said
Appellants and also byThis Court by content ofCouncel for the Church wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the said parish of Saint Luke This Court doth allow of the said Appeal and-
doth vacate and discharge the aforesaid Order of the said two Justices of the
peace and the same in hereby vacated and discharge accordingly.
