To the Right Worshipfull His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex At their Quarter Session of the Peace at Hicks Hall
Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Hendon in the
County of Middlesex .

Sheweth

That By Virtue of a Warrant or Order Under the Hands and
Seals of James Fraser< no role > This name instance is in set 3480. and Daniel Gach< no role > Esquires Two of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace For the City and LIberty of
Westminster in the County of Middlesex (One whereof being
Of the Quorum) bearing Date the Sixteenth Day of September-
One thousand Seven Hundred and Forty Eight Mary Griffiths< no role > in
the said Warrant or Order called the wife of Thomas Griffiths< no role >
was Removed and Conveyed From the Parish of Saint Martin in
the Fields within the Liberty of Westminster in the said
County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Hendon As the
Place of the last Legal Settlement of the said Mary
Griffiths

That Your Petitioners Apprehend themselves Aggrieved
by the said Warrant or Order of Removal.

Your Petitioners therefore Humbly Appeal
to this Court Against the same, And pray that
this Court will Appoint some day in this present
Session for the Churchwarden and Overseers
Of the Poor of the said parish of Saint Martin in the
Fields And All other persons Concerned to Attend
this Court to hear and Abide the Judgment and
Determination of this Court touching the said
Appeal

And Your Petitioners Shall Ever pray Etc
