Elwood< no role >
the paper mentioned In the Order or
pass warrant agt. which the appellts. have
appealed in this Cause about two Months
aged made her Escape from this Deponent who
on the behalf of the Appellts. was Attending
the Lord Mayor of the City of London
in
Company with her In Order to Answer her
Complaint made before his [..] Lordship agt.
the parish of St. Giles Cripplegate
aforesaid
and at the same time of the paupers making
her Escape She left behind her her two Children
in the said pass Warrt. menconed who have been
ever since in the Workhouse
of the same parish
and this Depont. further sayth that he hath Sevl.
times Since the paupers making her Escape both
before and during this present Session made diligent
Search for and Enquiry after the pauper but hath
not been able to meet with any Informacon of her
or the place of her abode which is the reason
she can not be produced on the hearing this
appeal
