First of all Alice Hops on Maketh Oath [..]
that between eleven & twelve of the Clock
last night she had Feloniously stolen to
taken in her house three Neckelonth a
box iron a Hunot. her chief & several
other things of the value of Ten shillings
the property other husband Nathanlel
Hopson
< no role > & this Informt. on her Oath Says she
has a Strong inspicion that one George
Letts
< no role > & who lody'd in this Informts. house
and Feloniously steal take the aforesaid
things because she saw him come out of he
rdom & She found his shoe's upon a chair the
& pursuing him he dropt one of the said
Neck waths & an other Neckeloath was
taken out of his pocket by her said Husband
& in about half an hour afterwards the
box iron wth other things were found Cram [..]
in a hole in the Garret where the said
George Jeffs< no role > lay Secondly Nathanial
Hopson maketh Oath that he took on
of the said Neckelonths out of the
pocket of the said George Jeffs [..] Saw
him drop another of the Neckelonths
upon the Stairs Thirdly Christian Nichols
maketh Oath she saw the [..] said Bo [..]
iron One of the said Neckelonths wth
other things found in the Garret where
