To the Worshipfull of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex in General Quarter Session at
Hicks Hall in St. John Street in & for the sd. County
Assembled

The humble Petition & Appeal of the Church
wardens & Oversrs. of the Poor of the
Parish of St. Clement Danes in the County
of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by an Order under the hands & Seales of
John Milner< no role > & Philip Dyot< no role > Esqrs. two of his Majestys
Justices of the Peace for the sd. County of Middlesex (one
of the Quorum) bearing Date the 5th. Day of June
last Ann Lee< no role > Singlewoman was removed from the
Parish of St. Giles in the Feilds in the County of Middlesex
aforesaid to the sd. Parish of Saint Clement Danes as
the Place of her last legal Settlement whereby your
Petitioners conceive themselves to be Agrieved and
against the sd. Order do appeale

Pray that a Short Day may be
appointed this present Session to hear
and Determina the said Appeal

At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of
our Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County
of Middlesex at Hick's Hall in St. John Street
in the County aforesaid on Monday the thirteenth
Day of July in the Twenty first Year of the Reign
of our Sovereign Lord George the Second King of Great
Britain France & Ireland Defender of the Faith

It is Ordered by this Court that the Churchward [..]
& Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Giles in the feilds
in the County of Middx have Notice of this Appeal & that
they & all Persons concerned do attend this Court on
Fridaynext at tenof the Clock in the forenoon to
hear & abide the Judgmt. & Determination of this Court
touching the sd. Appeal
