The humble Petition of John Whittenberry< no role > and Sarah< no role > his
Wife Servant to Henry Wallbanck< no role > Keeper of Clerkenwell
Bridewell

Humbly Sheweth.


That your Petr. has been a Servant to the sd. Henry
Wallbanck
< no role > for severall Years last past as Task master and your
Petrs. Wife who has always heed in the Prison and been of
great Service to the Prisoners and as the place of Matron is new
become Vacant by the Death of Mrs. Cavenagh, of your
Worships shall think proper to appoint her to be Matron will
take the utmost Care that's possible to do every thing in Regard
to that Office in the most Discreet manner that any Body can
do.

Therefore your Petr: humbly beggs your
Worships will take it into Consideration and
give such Orders as to your Worships shall
seem meet
