Parish of Stanwell
in the County of Midlx : These to Execute
and to the Church-wardens and Overseers of Poor of the

Whereas Complaint hath been made you the Church-wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Stanwell
unto us whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
(whereof one is of the Quorum) for the County of Midlx aforesaid,
That Bartholomew Harper< no role > Pallecia < no role > his Wife and
Bartholomew, < no role > Adam, < no role > George, < no role > Hannah, < no role > John < no role > and
William, < no role > their Six Children hath

lately intruded themselves into your said Parish of Hanwell

thereto inhabit asParishioners contrary to the Laws relating to
the Settlement of the Poor, and are there [..] become charge-
able, [..] And Whereas, upon due Examinati-
on and Enquiry made into the Premises, upon Oath

it appears unto us, and we accordingly adjudge, That the said
Bartholomew Harper< no role > Pallecia his Wife and these
sd Six Children are
[..] become chargeable unto the said Parish of Stanwell
and that the last legal Place of
Settlement of the said Bartholomew Harper< no role >
is in the said Parish of
St. Olave Southwark
These are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to order and require you
the said Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Stanwell aforesaid, that you
or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the said Bartholo-
mew Harper Pallecia his Wife and their said
six Children from your [..]
to the said Parish of St. Olave
Southwark and them deliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant or Order or a true
Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise required in his Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made forthwith to
receive the said Bartholomew Harper< no role > Pallecia his Wife
and their sd. Six Children
into their said Parish and provide for them
as their own Parishioners. Given under our Hands and Seals, the
first Day of Augt. in the Year of our
Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and thirty Seven
