WHEREAS Complaint bath been made unto
us, two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the Sd County (one being of the Ouorum) by
the Church. Warden and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of St Sepulchre in the Said
County, That George Brooks< no role > and Joseph < no role > his Son
Aged About Eight Years have
lately come into the Said Parish endeavouring to Settle
there, contrary to Law. And it appeareth unto us the
Said Justices, and we do adjudge That they are likely
to become Chargeable [..] to the Said Parish, and upon Exami-
-nation of the Said George Brooks< no role >
taken upon Oath, it further appeareth unto us
and we do like will adjudge, That the Liberty of Saffron hill Helton Garden & Eli [..] in the parish of St
Andrew Holborn in the said CountyHalborn Garden Liberty
is the Place of the last legal
Settlement of the Said George Brooks< no role > and Joseph his
Son and Whither by Law they ought to be Sent
These are therefore, in His Majesty's Name, to Charge and
Command the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Said Parish of St Sepulchre
forthwith to remove and convey the said George Brooks< no role >
and Joseph his Son
from the said Parish of St Sepulchre
to the Said
Libety in the Parish of St Andrew Holborn aforesaidHatton Garden Lib. [..] rand deli-
-ver them- to the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor there, or to Some or one of them who are hereby re-
-quired to provide for them according to Law. Given un-
-der our Hands and Seals the 19th Day of August
And [..] in the Year of our Lord 1737.
