At theGeneralGeneral Quarter Session of the peace of our
sovereign Lord the King holden for the County of Middx at
Hicks hall in St. John street in the County aforesaid by adjornment
on Friday the eighth day July in the eleventh year of the reign of
our sovereign Lord George the second King of Great Britain Etc
before Edward Barker< no role > Alexander Garrett< no role > William Booth< no role > John
Poulson
< no role > Esquires & other their Follows Justices of our said Lord the
King assigned to keep tthe peace in the County aforesaid and also to
hear & determine divers felonys trespasses & other misddeds
committed in the same County,

Whereas the Chuchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish
of St. Peter le Poor London exhibited their appeal unto his
Court at this present General Quarter Session of the peace begun
& holden for thesaidCounty of Middx on Monday the fourth day of July
instant [..] (which session was & stands continued by
several adjornments untill this eighth day of July instant and is
now on the some day holden by adjornment for this same County)
setting forth That by an Order dated the twenty third day of June
last under the hands & seals of John Milner< no role > & John Mercer< no role > Esquires
two of his Majesty's Justices of the peace for the said County of
Middx (one being of the Quorum) one mary Randall< no role > widow of
Thomas Randall< no role > deced was passed from the parish of St. Giles
in the fields in the said County to the said parish of St. Peter le
poor in London as the place of her last legal settlement, And
that the said Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the said
parish of St. Peter le poor conceive themselves aggrieved by the said
Order, And therefore prayed this Court to appoint a day of hear
the said appeal against the said Order, the matter of which appeal
was appointed to be heard & determined by this Court on this
eighth day of July instant, Now upon motion made unto this

Court by Mr. Stracey of Councel for the said Appellants praying
that the hearing of the said appeal may be adjouned It is thereupon Ordered by
this Court that the benefit of the said appeal be saved unto
them, And that the hearing & determining thereof be and the
same is hereby adjorned untill the next General Session of
the peace to be holden for the said County of Middx , And that
the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the said parish
of St. Giles in the fields (upon service of a copy of this order)
and all persons concerned do attend the Court of the said next
General Session of the peace to be holden for the said County by
