To the Worshipfull his Majesties Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlx in their General Sessions of the
Peace at Hickshall assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Church-
wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St James within the Liberty of Westminster in the
County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the
hands and Seals of John Mercer< no role > and R: Midford Esqrs. two of
his Majesties Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex (one
whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the 13th day of August
1737 Sarah Martin< no role > Singlewoman was removed from the Parish of
St Giles in the Fields in the said County to the said Parish of St. James as the
Place of her last legal Settlemt Whereby your Petitioners think
themselves aggrieved

And therefore humbly prays this Court will be
Pleased to appoint a time for hearing and
Determining the sai Appeal and that all
Persons Concerned may then Attend

And your Petitioners Shall Pray Etc
