in the County aforesaid
by adjornmenton Monday in the
Week next after the Feast day of the Epiphany (to witt) the
thirteenth day of January in the eighth yeare of the reign
of our Sovereign Lord George the Second King of Great Britain
France & Ireland Defender of the Faith

assigned to keep the peace in the County aforesaid and
also to heare & determine divers felonys trespasses & other
misdeeds committed in the same County,
Whereas the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the
parish of St. James Garlick hith
London have exhibited
their humble petition & appeale unto this Court settingforth
that by vertue of an Order or Pass warrant under the hands
& Seales of two of his Maties Justices of the peace
for the
County of Middx (one whereof being of the Quorum) dated
the twenty fifth day of October last

were passed from the Liberty of Saffron hill
Hatton Garden
& Ely Rents
in the parish of St. Andrew Holborn
in the said County of Middx to the said parish of St. James
Garlick hith
London as the place of their last legal Settlemt.
And that the Petrs. conceive themselves aggreived by the said
Order or Pass warrant and Judgment of the said two Justices
And therefore humbly appeale to this Court against the same
to have releife in the premisses, whereupon at the request of
the Petrs. It is Ordered by this Court that the benefit of the said
appeale be saved unto them, And that the hearing & determining
hereof be and the same is hereby adjourned untill the next General
Quarter Session - of the peace to be holden for the said County of
Middx
, And that the Overseers of the poor of the said Liberty of
Saffron hill Hatton Garden & Ely Rents
in the said parish of St.Andrew Holborne
