To the Worshipfull His Matys Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex in General Quarter Sessions
at Hicks Hall assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens & overseers
of the poor of the parish of Bristops Hatfeild in the County of
Hertford

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a pass warrant under the hands & seale of
Bourne and Richard Darby< no role > Esqrs . Two of this Matys
Justies of the peace for the said County of Middlesex (Quor Anno)
Bearing date the Twentieth day of April last Thomas Taylor< no role >
Elizabeth < no role > two wife and Joseph < no role > their son were Removed from the
parish of Endfeild in the County of Middlesex to the said parish
of Bishop Hatfeild as the place of their last Legal settlement
Whereby Your Petitioners Conceive themselves to be agreived

Therefore they humbly appeal to your worships against the Adjudgement of the
said two justices and pray your worships will be pleased to order
That the Church Wardens & Overseers of the poor of the said parish
of Endfeild and all persons Concerned to attend this Court some
day in this present session where and abide the Judgment and
Determination of this Court touching the said appeal
