Whereas by an Order made at the Genll. Sessions of the Peace
holden by Adjornment in & for the County of Middx at Hicks Hall
in St John Street On Saturday the 26th. day of February last Past
Mr Henry Barker< no role > & James Clithorow< no role > Esqrs . Were Nominated
Directed & Appointed Trearers of the monies to be & Acted by
Virtue of An Assessment then made for Raining the Sum of
Two Hundred Pounds for the Repairing & Amending Brentford
Bridge in the Parish of Hanwell & other Publick Bridges in
this County And Whereas by the said Order the Severall and
Respective Sums of money hereunderwritten all Taxed and
assessed upon the Severall & Respective Parishes hereunderwritten
being wth in your Divicon for & towards the making up the said
Sum of Two hundred Pounds Charged upon the said County for
the Purposes aforesaid

These are therefore By Virtue of the said Order to Requires & Comand You
forthwith to Issue forth Your Precipts to the Respective Churchwardens &
Overseers of the Poor & Petty Conbles . of the said Severall Parishes hereunder
written requireing them forthwith to Assess according to their abilities all
& every the Inhitants & Occupiers of Messuages Lands & Tenements wth in
the said Severall Parishes & places for the purposes aforesaid Which said
Sums of money they are to ask Demand Receive & take of the Severall
& Respective Persons so assessed and in Default of Payment thereof
wth. in ten days after Demand to Levy & Distrain the same upon the Goods &
Chattlells of Such Perosn or Persons So Assessed & not paying the Same Rendring to
[..] Persons whose Goods & Chattells they shall to Distrain the Overplus
that shall Remain after the Sale thereof (if any) Reasonable Charges for making
& Selling Such Distress being first Deducted which said Sums of money when
Collected & Levied they are to pay to You wth in Six Days after the Receipt thereof
And You are by the said Order Required within tenn days after You have
Reced the same to pay the same to us or One of us ( Vizt.) to me the said &
Henry Backer< no role > at my house Called Grove house near Chriswick Middle or to me
the said James Clitherow< no role > at my house Called Boston House near New Brentford
Middle to the end We may Dispose thereof as by the said Order We are Directed
And You & the said Churchwardens Overseers of the Poor & Petty Conbles . are by
the said Order Strictly enjoyned to are Your atmost Diligence in Collecting levying
& Paying the said money & performing all other matters & things relating
thereto upon Pain of being proceeded against according to Law for Neglect
of Duty in the Premises Hereof Failes not Given under Our Hands & Seales
the 18th. Day of March Anno Dom 1731
