WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us two of
His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of Mid-
dlesex,(Quorum Unus)one where of some of the Quorumby the Church wardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish ofSaintAndrew, Holborn, above the Bars in
the said County; ThatJane Davis< no role > the wife of John
Davis< no role > has
lately come into the said Parish, Endeavouring to Settle there contrary
to Law; And it appeareth unto Us the said Justics, and we do
Adjudge, Thatshe islikely to become chargeable to the
Said Parish, and upon Examination ofJohn Williams< no role >
taken upon Oath;
it further appeareth unto Us, and we do likewise Adjudge, That
the parish of Saint Dinstan at Stepney
in the Hamlet of Stepney
in the County of Middlesex is the Place of the last
Legal Settlement of the saidJane Davis< no role > whither by
Law she ought to be sent

the Church-Warden and Over seers of the Poor of the said Parish of

vey the saidJane Davis< no role >

Said Parish ofSaint Dunstan at Stepney
and deliverher
to the Church-Wardens and Over seers of the Poor there, or to some
or one of them, who are hereby required to provide forher
