Upon hearing of the appeale of the Churchwardens
& Overseers of the poor of the parish of St George
the Martyr in this County against an Order
under the hands & seales of John Milner< no role > & Richard
Gifford
< no role > Esqrs two of his Maties Justices of the Peace
for the said County (Quorum Unus) bearing date
the third day of May instant whereby Catherine
Evans
< no role > Singlewoman aged about three score
yeares who was likely to become chargeable
to the parish of St. Giles in the fields in this County
was removed from the said Parish of St. Giles in
the fields to the said Parish of St. George the Martyr
as the place of her last legal settlement, And upon
hearing of what was alledged by Councell for the
Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the
said parish of St. Giles in the fields and alsoe by
Councell for the Churchwardens & Overseers of
the poor of the said Parish of St. George the Martyr
This Court doth disallow of the said appeale
And doth ratify & confirm the aforesaid Order of
the said two Justices of the peace, and the same
is hereby retifyed & confirmed accordingly, And this
Court doth require the Church wardens & Overseers
of the poor of the said Parish of St. George the Martyr
& all Persons concerned to yeild due obedience thereunto
