now Convicted (by his own Confession) upon an Indictment
against him for Assaulting beating and evilly on treating Diana< no role >
his wife is fined for the said Offence three shillings & four pence
due he is Ordered to Enter into a recognizance himselfe in four
hundred pounds with two Sufficient Sureties or pledges in two
hundred pounds each, to keep the peace towards his Majesty and
all his Leige people and especially towards the said Diana his
wife & to be of his good behaviour for the terme & space of seven
Years now next Ensueing, which said recognizance is to be entred
into and such sureties or pledges are to be approved of and taken b [..]
Sr John Gonson< no role > Knight Robert Midford< no role > and Clifford William
Philips
< no role > Esqrs three of his Majestys Justices of the peace for this
County or any One of them to whome it is recomended and referred
to take and Approve thereof And the said George Treweeks< no role > is
directed to give the names & places of Abode of the persons that
he shall propose for such his Sureties or pledges to Mr Daniel Bolton< no role >
agent or Sollicitor for the said Diana Treweeks< no role > to the End they
may be inquired into as to their circumstances and Ability and an
Account given thereof to the said Justices or any of them by the said
Mr Bolton before they are allowed of and the recognizance thereupon
taken, And the said George Treweeks is comitted to New prison att
Clerkenwell in this County there to remain till be pays the
said Fine, enter into such recognizance, and find such Sureties and
pledges as aforesaid, then to be delivered paying his Fees £1:1s:4d
