upon reading the humble peticon & appeale of
the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of
the hamlett of Wapping Stepney in this County
exhibited unto this Court setting forth that
by vertue of a Pass under the hands & Seales
of Philip willshire< no role > & Samuel Jones< no role > Esqr . Two
of his Maties. Justices of the peace of the said
County (Quorum unus) beareing date the
ninth day of September last past Elizabeth
Williams
< no role > now wife of john williams< no role >
formerly Elizabeth Matthews< no role > widdow of
George Matthews< no role > with her Three children
(Vizt) Mary Matthews< no role > aged about seven
yeares Elizabeth Matthews< no role > aged about six
yeares and William Williams< no role > aged bout
eighteen months were removed from the
hamlett of Ratcliff in the said County to
the hamlett of wapping Stepney above said
as the place of their last legall Settlement.
