Whereas Complaint hath been made by you the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
Parish ofSt Clement Danes unto Us whose
Hands and Seals are hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace (Quorum unus) for theCountyaforesaid, That
John Bowran< no role > & Mary< no role > his Wife with their Child
[..] named Mary< no role > aged abt, four yes are
latey Intrudedthemselvesinto your said parish of
St. Clemt. Danes there to Inhabitat Parishioner Contrary to
the Laws relating to the Settlement of the Poor, and there likely
to become Chargeable, if not timely prevented: And Whereas,
upon Due Examination and Enquiry made into the premisses
Upon the Oath of the Sd. John Bowran< no role >
it appears unto Us, and We accordingly Adjudge, That the said
John Bowran< no role > & Mary his wife & their Child
are
likely to become Chargeable unto the said Parish ofSt. Clement
Danes. and that the last Legal Place of Settlement of the said
John Bowran< no role > was in the said Parish of
St. Mary Le Strand
These are therefore, in His Majesty's Name. to Order and Require
your the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish ofSt. Clemt Danes Aforesaid, that you, or some
of you, do forthwith Remove and Convey the saidJohn Bowran< no role >
& Mary his wife with their young Child aforesaid
not of &from your said Parish ofSt. Clemt Danes

andthemdeliver
to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant or Order, or a true
Copy hereof, whereby they are likewise Required, in his Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forth with
to Receive the saidJohn Bowran < no role > & Mary his wife
with their young Child
into their saidCareand provide for
as their own Parishioner Given under our Hands and Seals,
the20thDay ofSeptembr.Anno Regi
